Changement: Change as a chance
We are living in a time where versatility and the ability to change have become a factor for economic survival and offers the foundation for future success.
84% of all people are afraid of change.
Everything is flowing. Easily said, hard to put into action. Many want to leave things as they are. But in future this will be our downfall. We need to be able to change, permanently.
We will be ging through a constant process of change for the next decades, possibly even century. No stone will remain on the other. We have to take away the fear of change from our employees. We have to convince them that the future offers great opportunities. We need provocative people that want to strike a new path. We need pioneers and challengers.
Remember this: being successful in a constant process of change will become the most important chracter trait in business of the future. We define it as changement.
Changement - the ability to constantly adapting to new situation needs a process of rethinking in every company. We have no other choice, because most successful products and services weren't there a few months ago. And the might not be there much longer. (R)evolution is a natural process. Nature offers the foundation for constant advancement. Transferred to business this does not mean that we need to fall into blind agression towards change but being able to constantly adapting to obligatory benefits of our customers. The customer determines the speed and content of change.
On the other hand it is our duty to recognise the needs of our customer, that he himself has not yet recognised. In order to achieve this we constantly need to be in contact with our customers, so that we can identify his wishes and motives.
In one sentence: We need to identify the wishes of our customers before the others do.
It will be decisive to transfer this changement-capability to our employees. This time we cannot order them to, but we need to convince them.
When you replace change with chance you only replace one letter, but possibly the whole company. Success begins in your head, nowhere else.
